About Ariella:

I made aliyah 17 years ago, live in Beit Shemsh with my husband and 4 children and work in Jerusalem .  I have been running for over 9 years and after having participated in various half marathons and 10k races, this past January, I ran the Tiberias marathon.  Running keeps my very hectic life balanced.


About Sderot:

Sderot is not so far away from Beit Shemesh and every now and again I think about when they will be able to launch a rocket that is able to fly just a little further and reach Beit Shemesh.  The point being that it just happens to be that it is the city of Sderot that is currently being bombed, but any part of Israel could be next at any time. "Kol Yisrael Arevim ze laze" and we must always remember that it is all of us being affected by the bombing and not just the people actually living in Sderot.
However it is sometimes hard to find a way to help and connections Israel is allowing me to combine my love of running with a mitzvah – what could be better.
