David is a freelance technical writer living in Jerusalem and a former half-marathon runner. Well, a one-time half-marathon runner. He still jogs, in Gan Sacker, though more in theory than in practice.


About Sderot:

Outside of Sderot we are used to hearing in the news that Sderot is bombed on an almost daily basis. So used to it that we don't pay any attention. But those who live there are not used to it and are struck by panic each time the alarm sounds. And probably when the alarm isn't sounding either. The least I can do is run 10 km and raise some money that will be used by Connections Israel to fund activities in Sderot for the benefit of my neighbours, those Israelis who live there.
